The Austin Cup was founded in 2000 to bring together the Central Texas technology family each year and create a tradition we could look forward to for generations to come. Now in its 11th year, the Austin Cup mission lives on. We continue to provide local tech companies with an annual coming-together for friendly competition, family fun and an opportunity to learn about and support the issues affecting child abuse victims in our community by supporting the Center for Child Protection. AUSTIN CUP 11TH ANNIVERSARY: Benefitting the Center for Child Protection - 2011For the second year in a row, Innography has taken first place in the Austin Cup local competition. On April 30, 2011 Innography was awarded The Austin Cup trophy for raising the most money among all participating companies of like size: $5,842., half of which came directly from employee donations as we celebrated what has become our annual Week of Food. One week each year volunteer employees donate breakfast and lunch, available for purchase by other employees. Innography then matched the money that was raised to launch us into first place again. AUSTIN CUP 10TH ANNIVERSARY: Benefitting the Center for Child Protection - 2010Innography employees raised $1,320, by participating in A Week of Food, which is a week of activities that included a ping pong competition, themed meals and a Classic Cocktails happy hour. Innography then matched that donation, the total of which was matched by Lombardi Software for a grand total of $5,280, which is more than any other participating company. The week ended with the Austin Cup 10th Anniversary, a charitable bowling competition among companies who were also part of the charity drive. The Austin Cup was sponsored by Austin Ventures and the Entrepreneurs Foundation, with donations benefitting The Center for Child Protection. |
